Breakfast for me, is the most important meal of the day. Not only does it provide me with the nutrients I need but it also boosts the energy I need to do my tasks for the entire day. Breakfast for me is important but to make breakfast is a different issue. I usually get up late in the morning, so I have to finish my daily routine quickly and if I still had to make breakfast, no more daily routine. I knew there had to be a better way, at least to make toasts and eggs. Fortunately, there’re many 2-in-1 appliances sold nowadays and I happen to see a toaster with egg cooker and I just knew that I had to get it so I bought it.

A toaster with egg cooker is a 2-in-1 combination appliance that lets me make toasts and cook eggs simultaneously. It is very simple to use, when I want to make toasts, I just put in two pieces of bread, bagel, muffin or any kind of bread that I could fit into the toaster. This model of mine has only two slots because I don’t need a big toaster but there’re other models that have 4 or more slots. If I wanted hard-boiled eggs, I just place an egg into the egg cooker, add some water and turn it on. Since I cook for myself, one egg is enough which is exactly what this model can do although there’re other models that cook 2 or more eggs. If I wanted poached eggs then I can use the poaching cup, put in a raw egg with water under the cup and leave it to cook. My combo unit has a special feature that lets it finish both tasks simultaneously. If the toasts are done while the egg is still cooking, the toaster will keep the bread warm and will only eject the toasts when the egg is done and vice versa. Clean-up is simple because the egg cooker just needs wiping and for the toaster, who cleans their toaster.

Following my purchase of a toaster with egg cooker, I have constantly been making toasts and eggs for breakfast. I’m also trying out other recipes so I don’t get tired of just toasts and eggs every day.
